Nowadays gas is a roller coaster and prices are high then they are low. Gas prices keep changing on a day to day basis. Most of us are affected by today's economy and are in search of cheaper gas.  So how do we find where the gas price are cheaper? Well most of us search on the internet and compare prices, but what if you are on the open road? If you have an iPod touch or an iPhone then maybe the solution to your problem is closer then what you think. There is  a new app called called Cheap Gas! that tracks down the nearest and cheapest gasoline station in your area. Simply put in your area code and all the gasoline stations pop up. Now if you have the iPhone and are searching for a gas station simply pop you camera open and point it into the direction you want to go and the gasoline  stations pop up! But there are some downfalls to this new app is meant mostly for 3GS users, the camera part of the app does not work with the iPod touches since they do not have any camera, and this only works for the US and Canada only!

So, if ever  stopped for gasoline driven a couple of miles to find out another gas station with lower prices than you just paid. Put Cheap Gas! on your iPhone and get the news on cheapest  prices before  filling up.
