Objectives: -To provide young people with important information that they should know about the realities of war and military entlistment, from the perspective of military veterans who belong to the organization. Information is also provided on alternatives to the military for college financial aid, community service and job training, as well as information on careers in peacemaking and social change. Speakers are available for high schools and teen youth groups.

Cardiff-by-the-Sea Branch of the San Diego County Library held a grand opening ceremony at the new library location 2081 Newcastle Avenue on March 22. On March 18 the library had celebrated 89 years of serving our community.
