Encinitas has grown rapidly over the past 10 years stretching into the eastern hills and now encompassing the villages of Leucadia, Cardiff-By-The-Sea, and Olivenhain. Encinitas is known as the "Flower Capital of the World" and is one of the world's major suppliers of Poinsettias. Encinitas encompasses more than six miles of beautiful coastline.
