| Swami's has been immortalized in song (the Beach Boys' 'Surfin' U.S.A.') and surfing word of mouth. The point break here clears an offshore reef and peels away for sweet right-handed waves. Winter can be epic. It's one of the few places in San Diego that will hold a swell. Bring your longboards and your guns because lumber requirements change with the surf conditions. This is not a wave for the novice.
